wowwwwwww ,what a responce to my rather "this is not Alice talking is it???" My friends would say that.
I am lucky to say I am married 55 years ,when I married my german mother said "look what I did to your father don't make the same mistake" but sure enough I fell right into the same trap, I spoiledmy german husband rotten, we went through a lot together and we are still together so I really don't mind, if you think it was snide ,you read more into it than my intended joke, anyway I am glad I got you something to think about.

I neither considered your question snider, inappropriate or in any other way derogatory. I did think it was a question/statement that was requesting a fun styled response, which I tried to give.

I do not in any way believe that I have judged you or your relationship with your husband nor have I implied that it is correct or incorrect in any way.

I simply responded with what I would say ... and I thought I kept my comments clearly in the "I's" not the "you's". In fact I believe that the person that my post defines is me, not you.

As your posting was presented in a fun, light hearted manner so was my response by making reference to my reputation here on the forum as "that Flaming Women's Libber"! I apologize if I was not clear, definite or evident in the person to whom I was referring was me.

I never thought this ,please , I am sorry too when you misread my response it was the men who rather thought that, NEVER women ,It is so easy to mail something like that and have it turn out wrong. I meant it to be light hearted, I learned my lesson, somebody just said to me , "always think when you e-mail, would you say it to that person?" I will in the future.
