A desperately needed new watch - the 30 year old Strawberry Shortcake wind-up I pilfered from my 4 year old just wasn't doing it for me!

Also, some Christmas cds, DVDs, and....I don't know yet, but I'm to expect some things from Little Shavers!! I told my husband I love getting presents AFTER Christmas - nice surprise in the mail (besides all the bills!) after it's all over. So, apparently, I've still got a few carving goodies to look forward to!

I think Santa gave me BobD's package by mistake - an old Craftsman low angle knuckle-joint block plane, in pretty good shape except the iron is hashed. I want to make a tapered one to replace it.

Parker

Oh, yeah. Adjustable mouth with adjuster in good condition.

Rick, You know the mill is the cheap part now you need tooling.

Santa brought me two new Cape Forge knives. A lock blade whittler. And a hand made whittler form Germany. Also got some motorcycle chrome and a new Miller welding shield.

Rick, Can you both adopt me? Well, I got more than I should have. One thing and I thing it improved my picture taking of my carvings.
A Portable Lighting Studio. Easy to set up and price was great.
Here is a few new pieces I finished up Saturday and the first Ornament for the year.

Santa was waaay too good to me this year! He and my sweet baby boys wrapped me up a Milwaukee Drill and some DeWalt Bits...I won't loose these! He also gave me a awesome crock pot...Ha...I guess Thats his sweet way of saying play all you want in the shop...just don't forget my dinner! Oh, and my sweet boys found me my annual Nutcracker...Good Find...I did not already have one like it!
I will post pictures of the Fireman one I am making as soon as it is finished! Such great goodies everyone piled in! EVEN THE COAL! that is so hysterical...real love went into that!!! Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you spent the day with those you loved!!!

Gene,
I could ask for one more thing; a forklift to position the mill in my shop.
It's 915 lbs as delivered; 825 lbs uncrated; not quite a benchtop mill.

Goody,
Yes, the tooling is a big part of the cost; but it is R-8 tooling and available new and used.

Rick, Rick , Rick......... you were a good boy this year!!! Look at those two beauties! How did Theresa get that machine under the tree, let alone wrapped!!!!!

I got a new cordless phone, so I don't have to stop carving to run upstairs to answer ours! Now why didn't I think of that! Also got a phone call from one very satisfied customer who recieved a dragon cane I carved, for Christmas from his wife.

Bob

Rick, can you bar it up far enough to get some pipe rollers under it? Just a thought - cheaper than a forklift.
