Default dept 56 figure

I don't know how many here collect chritmas village pieces, but I saw a Department 56 piece that may be of interest. It consists of two parts, the first is a log house that has a sign that reads "Woody's Woodland Crafts." And the second part is a figure holding a block of wood that he is carving and on the table there are small carvings that are for sale.
the site is www.department56.com then click on Christmas and then the word village and it will be under lighted buildings. enjoy

My wife collects Dept.56. I see that this set is going to be discontinued in Dec.

I'm going to have her get one for me to go along with the sawmill, woodworker, and logger sets that Dept. 56 have offered in the past.

Thanks for the heads up .

Woody the wood carver has been added to my wood theme village . The detail on these pieces are just amazing.

I now have a horse logger skidding a log to the sawmill, a woodworker, and now a wood carver all nestled around the mill. Kinda resembles my place in real life !

We don't put up a regular Christmas tree anymore because my wife enjoys displaying her village pieces on the christmas tree style shelves that I had made for her.
