About 5 years ago or so, I was camping with a Good Sams group and, as always, was working on a carving. I was approached by a lady who said she would like to have me teach her to carve. I explained some about beginning carving and thought, "That's the end of that." She didn't and called me a few weeks later asking about lessons. This time I thought, "Oh well, it will be fun to carve with someone for the few lessons she attends."

Jeannie Carey had the interest, the drive, the talent...................and lady look at what you have done now! I am proud to have gotten you started in woodcarving Jeannie. Please bring the fish by and allow me to see it in person when you return home.

Wow ... That looks like a lot of fun. I think you should take that class / show on the road and bend it up the NE coast! To have an entire group of carvers from all aspects to learn from in person would be very exciting and a dream come true! (personally I would settle for just one.)
Keep the photo's coming!
