It seems I am destined to have my carving curtailed for a bit. I have been asked to head up a venture to set up a wooden box factory by the end of the month, and begin the process of manufacturing thousands of wooden wine boxes initially. I have also come up with a patentable design on a wooden box for a hamper in which I am to be made a partner. I then have to produce a working prototype and begin production and promotion. I will effectively be on the road or working around the clock on this until all settles down. It is very hard for me to lay down my newfound love I can tell you. I am still creating in a roundabout way, and I am still working with timber, but.... I will still get on here as often as I can to see what you are all up to. Forgive me in advance if I miss a few posts from my good friends on here. Thanks for taking the time to read this far, Joe.

Good luck Joe. It sounds stimulating at least. I hope you'll keep a sketch book close by and use any extra moment to record ideas for later use. Glad you'll pop in and say hi and keep up here. Christina |
