Default Carving Hiatus

It seems I am destined to have my carving curtailed for a bit. I have been asked to head up a venture to set up a wooden box factory by the end of the month, and begin the process of manufacturing thousands of wooden wine boxes initially. I have also come up with a patentable design on a wooden box for a hamper in which I am to be made a partner. I then have to produce a working prototype and begin production and promotion. I will effectively be on the road or working around the clock on this until all settles down.
It is very hard for me to lay down my newfound love I can tell you. I am still creating in a roundabout way, and I am still working with timber, but....
I will still get on here as often as I can to see what you are all up to. Forgive me in advance if I miss a few posts from my good friends on here. Thanks for taking the time to read this far, Joe.

Good luck Joe. It sounds stimulating at least. I hope you'll keep a sketch book close by and use any extra moment to record ideas for later use.
Glad you'll pop in and say hi and keep up here.

Good Luck Joe,on your new venture,we will miss you! However look at the bright side, your fortunate to be the explorer on this new venture and you will be working with wood. That's good enough to keep your addiction to wood going.
