| | Carver Search I need to communicate with a woman named Karen Howard who gave my wife a carving of a duck she did many years ago. She and her family lived 2 doors from us in our neighborhood in Stockton CA on Brentwood Street. Does anybody know her and how I mght contact her by e-mail, telephone or postal mail? |

| | Re: Carver Search Thanks, Hi Ho Silver. I looked at Google and found many, many females by that name all over the world but none with any identifying marks indicatig it might be the one I wanted. Will keep trying. I thought she might be a member of a woodcarving club or organization somewhere and possibly known to another member. THANKS for your reply. |

| | Re: Carver Search Hi Wes. I did a search on the name you gave and found some information that MIGHT help you track her down. There is a woodcarvers list here The WoodCarvers Web And twards the bottom it says " Karen Howard's Ferndale, CA, Sackcloth Gallery - (10/08/00) and the links are dead...but there is an email under her name of : < woodkarv@humboldt1.com> .
Now on Etsy, is a woodcarver by that name and she also uses Sackcloth gallery as a place to view her carvings. (but the sackclothgallery domain is for sale and I cant find anything else on it) This is the etsy site with Karen Howard Etsy :: KarenLHoward :: FLOWER GIRL And RING BEARER With DOVE, wood carved wedding children There is emails there to contact her if you think this might be the same woman.
Maybe you can find a phone number for this Gallery and track her down that way?
Hope this helps some.

| | Re: Carver Search Dear Marci MN, fellow Senior Member!
Thanks for your assistance on my behalf. I might never have had the patience that you demonstrated in locating that KAREN HOWARD more than half way down the list, so I am particularly grateful to you.
I have made inquiry at the website near her name but have had no response yet. I'll advise you if I do.
Being a mid-octogenarian, I find it confusing --tho challenging---to find my way around the Woodcarvers' website, as well as others, but I hope I am successful in reaching and thanking you---
---as well as contacting Karen Howard! |

| | Re: Carver Search To those of you -- several in number -- who responed to my SEARCH query about Karen Howard: Using all the info and tricks you offered me, I was unable to make connection with the woman I sought. At least--with the particulars which I provided--she did not respond. So I gave up.
FYI: I took another tack and satisfied my need to find an answer in another way so my forlorn search is now moot.
Thank you all anyway! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
