I see numerous mentions of the caricature carvers, and have gone to their web site, where it tells about them, but there is never a mention about joining their organization, are they some Elitist group we ordinary folk aren't allowed to join? My principal interest seems to be caricatures, both people and animals. I would post some pictures, but am barely able to turn this thing on.

I assume that you are talking about the Caricature Carvers of America. They elect members as "slots" are available.

They are not "Elitist".....just ordinary folks with talent and a desire to promote the art of caricature woodcarving.
