Default Calusa Carving Show reminder.....

Just a reminder for anyone in the Tampa Bay area, the Calusa Wood Carver's annual show is the first weekend of March, Sat the 6th and Sun the 7th, in Hudson. It is held at the Veteran's Recreations Center at the corner of Hudson Ave and Hicks road, located on the North West Corner.

The show always has a good turn out of exhibitors and vendors of books, tools, wood. We usually have several world class bird carvers displaying their work and one holds a carving class several days long the week before. If there is enough interest, (and there always has been) there is usually another class held after the show.

If anyone is interested in more details, let me know and I will get them for you. I always look forward to meeting some of the forum members in person when I am there. I usually share a table with a friend and set up with a few carvings. I have had the pleasure of meeting Eddy Smiles and his wife, Shelly, and Gulf Coast Handyman in the last two years. I hope to see some more of you there...
