Default Business cards

Reading an old thread this morning Thomp mentioned something about getting some cards and got me thinking (always dangerous). Anyone needing business cards needs to check out www.vistaprint.com as they will print some nice cards for you FREE. All you have to pay is the shipping which is 5 bucks. I have been using them for several years and am very satisfied. When you run out you can reorder, same cost. No gimmicks. Just thought some on here might be interested. Beats the heck out of paying 50 dollars or more at a printing office. Check it out.

How many do they make up at a time?

I made some myself, need to do some more up once I get back to the world, military and moving

We designed our own and print them out on Card stock. Works great and the look great.

Anyone have any suggestion on how to come up with your own logo to put on business cards?? I would like a woodcarving related picture on my cards but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I, also make my own cards using my computer. I know that I would prefer buying them; need mine made in a special format. They look fairly typical on the front

but, we live in a remote and difficult to find location. So on the reverse side I have given directions.

Starting just north of Harrison, Arkansas at Bear Creek Springs, junction of highways 412/62/65. Turn west on 412W/62W, 7 miles to Alpena. At the west end of Alpena (Shell Service Station) 412W/62W separate. Turn left on 412W and continue 6.9 miles (top of hill). Turn left on Carroll County Road 925. Go 1 mile to the end of the road. Do not give up, this really is a County Road, we are back here, the road ends in our front yard..

Works well when inviting friends, arranging deliveries, etc. I recommend it to anyone who needs to give directions to their location.

I had business cards printed up about 10 years ago..... Quite a few. Of course, within two years the area code we had always used, split our area into two area codes and naturally we wound up in the new area code. So, I had to sit down and change the area code on a whole mess of cards. I also didn't have a computer or a website back then.

A few months ago, I bought a nice graphics program for the computer and made a few cards using that. I put the website address and all the other important info on them. I am happy with what I did and print them up as I need them. If someting in our address or phone number changes, no sweat. I change it and print a few more.
