| | Re: Bracing for a Blizzard!! I agree, thank god for carving. We had about 8-10 inches of snow last night. I had 4 blanks cut out for Gargac santas and have already finished 2 today.
Maybe a white Christmas this year.

| | Re: Bracing for a Blizzard!! ahh the joys of winter. We've been snowed in for about four days now. I know.. Minnesota hasnt had snow for awhile..but our mile long driveway gets filled in with the winds...and that we've had. The farmer who blows the driveway out has problems with the snowblower. I just told him..not to worry we are set to sit.
I've got enough foodstuff, water, and back up heat/cooking heat, stashed up that I dont worry to much about it.
But you folks play it smart and be careful. I just heard on the news that folks are stealing downed lines for the copper/aluminum in them. Just makes one shake her head at that stupidity. |

| | Re: Bracing for a Blizzard!! We got about four inches yesterday afternoon and evening, then it turned to sleet! Today they are calling for sleet starting out, three to five more inches of snow, then 40-50 mile per hour winds! Hope the electric stays on!
Stay safe everyone! Have fun carving! Deborah
