I have been searching for ages trying to find taht book swap thread. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot. Here are 4 books I am parting with. I thought I would ask my friends here before i dumped them at a local thrift shop. Talk to you soon!

good morning,
i noticed the book by jean lipperman, i have several of her books , i favor an artist, or should i say a mural painter by the name of Rufas Porter, he did a lot of early american painting, it seemed to fit my folk art stage, i used to paint a lot, and he was one of the people i studied, bought most of jeans books in a used book store in portland ,or,
if the is any of rufas stuff in the book i might be intersted,
thanks
sam

Hi Keoma,

You know, of course, that the moment they are gone you will think about something you want to carve. The image will tickle your memory until you realize it wan in one of the just departed books. Isn't that they way it goes.

A friend in Louisianna gave me two gourds back in 2001. I kept it until last Fall when I was cleaning up and finally decided to throw them away. One had a crack up by the neck but I kept the other one. Wouldn't you know, a few months ago I got a wood burner and started looking into burning gourds. Go figure. At least I saved one. LOL.
