Default Better Homes And Gardens???

Hi All!
I know I haven't been around much But its been a very busy year for me. Went back to being a workaholic. In all the haste and confusion I noticed I didn't get a Better Homes And Gardens Santa collecting book this year. I have them All from the very first one and they are usually mailed automaticly. Just went to thier web site and cant find one there either. I hope they didn't do away with the books.

Way behind in my Santa carvings and don't see catching up anytime soon. Luckily I have great customers that dont mind waiting. I need to get as much done before Jan 13 as possible. Going in to get my rotator cuff sewed back up and they say its a 3 to 6 month recovery depending on if they have to do a lot of cutting.

Anyway I spent the day developing my 2009 Santa and yesterday I ordered my lumber for 2010. I guess I will be carving for a while longer.

I have the new bakery 1/3 in operation and we a reproducing 125,000 fresh pieces a day now. Plant engineer got fired and I have to pick up building the rest of the plant. I swore I wasn't going back into managment but things are what they are. I guess one of these days I will be able to retire and carve!
Anna's been busy painting my Santas and her gourds and shaker boxes.
Happy New Years Everyone!

Goody And Anna

Better Homes and Gardens has discontinued the "Santa Claus Collection" book. I was really bummed out, too! Always looked forward to it and even thought I might have a chance to be in it someday! Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes!

As popular and "in demand" as that issue was.....does'nt seem like smart business to me to discontinue it? But then sometimes Inc is short for the "last name in incompetency" LOL

as far as I know, they didn't do one last year either. I always looked for them and bought them on the stand as soon as they came out. When I couldn't find one last year, I called them and that's when they told me they were not doing anymore for now. I hope they bring them back someday.
