Wow, if the Doc said you would be "better than before" you have a lot to look forward to. Hang in there and try not to get too frustrated waiting for the "feel good" part. I can hear those animals "knocking on the wood" waiting for you to release them.

Thank you Donna, Joy & Mark

Your comments and well wishes are greatly appreciated. I know I have a lot to look forward to and with each passing day I'm getting closer to releasing those critters.
Thanks again, Dan

Dan,I've been gone the past few days but really excited just knowing you are home and your new meds are working. You will get stronger with the PT.

You have to get better orrrrrrrrrrr I will write you another story!! LOL

Start slow and you will improve easier! Good lucky and I will be thinking about you. Forrest

Thanks Forrest, I am doing great on the new meds. Its hard for me to believe how much different I feel compared to before. My biggest problem now is taking it easy. The carving is still a ways off, because as you know, I love to carve black walnut and its going to take some time to get my strength back. As for the stories, you can write them anytime and you can be assured that I'll enjoy them.

Thanks again, Dan

Dan....another wish for a speedy recovery. Now that they've got you on your new meds....and the right ones....it's just a matter of time. Have faith, and NEVER give up! My motherinlaw had an aortic heart valve operation at 93 a year ago. With therapy and medication....and following doctor's orders, she is back in her own home and doing great! Completely independent, once again. Just takes time, Dan. You'll be back to your old self soon...and we'll be watching for your work....Good luck in 2008! Bonnie
