I would like to share a most joyous experience I had yesterday. I had heard of Bruno's art and sculpture garden prior to my visit, but it did not come to within a whisker of seeing it in person. Now I must warn you that it is not wood carvings which may dissapoint some, me included when I found out they were clay sculptures. I was quickly disabused of that notion once I opened my heart to his tale and his art. His garden was decimated in the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires where he lost some 400 works of art in his gallery, garden and home. This brilliant and defiant artist fought back to re-establish his lovely garden in November 2011. I was moved to tears by this man's vision, and his comical sculptures had me smiling and laughing throughout the tour. While meeting and speaking to him was simply the highlight of my short artistic career. I am inspired beyond measure by this stoic man's artistic genius and resilient nature. Please take the time to explore his website and the many pictures of before and after the fires. I urge you to look closely at his often whimsical creations of fantasy and perhaps even help out by purchasing his wonderful book. http://www.brunosart.com/ Joe.

Love the place, the art is stunning, as is the recovery. Sad that he lost his home but a testiment to determination to create a thing of beauty. Druid

I have been a fan of his work and garden since before the fires took so much from him. What a great experience to have met him and seen the gardens he is working on in person. Thanks for posting and showing his work to everyone. Christina |

What beautiful gardens the sculptures seem to grow out of the wonderful nature.
