| | Re: aNY cARVING sHOWS iN nORTHERN cALIFORNIA? Hey Keoma!! Become a member of the California Carvers Guild and enter the show in Sacramento thats coming up pretty soon. You can only enter if your a member. This past weekend was the Hemet show the largest one in the state which was awesome!!!! I believe you can become a member and find out show info on there website californiacarversguild.com I think. Anyway I "know" you'll enjoy the experience. By the way take a look at my bronze page I just recently put up on my website if you have time. ![004[1]1](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1]1.gif) Carving!!! www.sierracreekstudios.com |

| | Re: aNY cARVING sHOWS iN nORTHERN cALIFORNIA? Oh Good Lord your stuff is amazing! The way I go on and on, my husband is worried I will eventually leave him for a woodcarver. Why on earth would I leave you for a talented, creative, artistic lover of life, art and all things beautiful?! Crazy...go figure! PLease note the heavy sarcasm!

| | Re: aNY cARVING sHOWS iN nORTHERN cALIFORNIA? Hey thanks Jim for the dates!! I didn't have my Log handy to look it up. I'm thinking about going up to the sacremento show, any suggestions as to places to stay? By the way I was approached by the "new" CCG Education Chairman while at the Hemet show. We may come to a agreement on some 3-5 day seminars for groups all over the state. Still hashing out the details but keep a eye on the Log. Did you happen to make the Hemet show this year? Very good show!! www.sierracreekstudios.com |

HI Keoma, I don't know of any wood carver shows, but the county fair is a great place to enter your art.I looked on your web site and we live in the same county. I entered a polymer clay doll in it 7 or8 years ago and got best of show in that division.Best of show at county fairs get to enter in state fair.Got 3rd place there.Your stuff is really nice, give it a try if you haven't already.Plus it's alot of fun for the family. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
