Default Another Fishing Thread

Since it looks like there are quite a few anglers on the board here, I thought I'd share this. Caught this last Tuesday at the lake where I work. It's a channel catfish, caught using cutbait on 8 pound test. Measured 29 1/2 inches long, weighed 10 pounds, 3 ounces

Claude,

Yes indeed! It's in the freezer along with a bunch of smaller ones that I've caught recently. The state has been stocking smaller channel cats (10-14 inches) for people to harvest. Some are even tagged, so If you catch one with a tag, you can clip the tag off and send it in for a 'reward'.

Nice fish.I caught this largemouth in the pond behind my house.I just do catch & release.Fishing is almost as good as carving.

That's one nice largemouth Shimmy! The Florida strain largemouth grow so fast. The pond in the community where I live, they just put about 20 F.S. largemouth in there last year.
