Default AT&T/Yahoo DSL

Anyone on here use this service? They finally got it out to our location and for the price of the Elite package we can get about quaddruple the speed that we get now with Wild Blue for half the price. Sounds almost too good to me so thought I'd ask if any of you use it and how you like it.

I don't have and have not heard of anyone else having AT&T service but I once had an AT&T cell phone package that sounded too good to be true... it was and I swore that I'd quit using a cell phone before I'd ever use AT&T services again. Hope you have better luck!

i have been a bell south customer for 30 years, now dsl came to town and at&t bought them out my phone number dosent register as a bellsouth telephone number but they still get there $50.00 a month,

i know i got to call them to straighten it out but i dont speak forign lauanges, and i dont have the paients for all them automated menus and waiting for 45 minuets to talk to that bunch of morons.... its like going into home depot and trying to buy a lag bolt you cant find, all the pimpled faced salesmen dont know what the heck your talking about... maybe thats there standard answer HUH?

sorry to vent, but this is a very sore subject with me.
the service i get is fine as long as i dont need anything changed... take it for what its worth

I don't have that service (use the cable company), but I have a comment. Here goes - Seems that back in the 80's they broke up AT&T into smaller independent companies. The reason was that AT&T had a monoply and no one could compete with them due to their vast amount of resources. Now it looks like they are trying to put it all back together. I am not a big fan of AT&T because of their stance with regard to alternate life styles. I was sorry to see them take over my cell phone company. Got to start looking for another provider.

Just my opinion, and it's worth just what you paid to get it.

ATT is supposed to be offering $ DSL, I have their DSL service and have no complaints with it. Upload and Download speeds seem to be good, I havnt seen alot of outages. It works for me.

I had AT&T a long time ago and dumped them! I suggest reading the "fine" print very closely!

I've had the Yahoo DSL for two years and have been very happy with it. Several of my friends also have it and have had no trouble. My contacts with their help line have been very good with all of them speaking English.

I'm a member of the Kansas City Woodcarving club and would like to thank you for being in our show. It's always a pleasure to see your carvings.
