| | Am I wierd? About two years ago my Dad asked my uncle who is a pretty good woodworker if he'd make his casket. Dad is 75 and doing well although he is getting some health issues.
Anyway my Uncle asked if I'd help him build it. I said yes I'd be honored, some of my family and friends think I'm "wierd".
I will be carving a flying duck or pheasent to place on the top of the casket, but no carving on the casket itself.
So roll call, wierd or not wierd.

| | Re: Am I wierd? Quite the opposite, I think it is a touching and generous thing to do! Going to a final resting place, for all time, wrapped in the arms of a piece of something your family made is the ultimate act of family love. Well done!
