Default Almost like loosing an old friend

While drying paint on a feather pin, early this morning, my hair dryer just quit. Checked the outlet, tried different outlets, it wouldn't come back on. I've had this, as you can probably tell by the photo for 20 plus yrs, probably came from a yard sale for a couple dollars, its been around for a long long time, grin. Just couldn't believe that it has to go in the garbage. But after looking it over, I'm wondering if it would be considered , MODERN ART. :~). Got to come up with a name for it??

If you don't want it to find its place in the trash, better keep it for sentimental value. I also have things that I treasured the most and had lost their usefulness. I didn't throw them instead I keep them in a place where I can look over them when I have time... As for the name, my suggestion is DREIART. It is shortened and modified Dryer Art...

LOL, both good handles . It will go in the trash, have been throwing away STUFF, for the past year, no sense in collecting more. But if someone was to offer me thousands of dollars for it, well it might make a difference. :~)

LOL, had to laugh at myself, but seriously, when I discovered it was kaput, it gave me a little twinge of regret, stupid hair dryer. Old and foolish, got another one all ready. Almost like trading my Ford for a Chevrolet. Just wouldn't do such a thing. Now how is that for stirring up the pot.

Bob K, thinking about your great Gandmother having a hair dryer reminds me about buying an Antique Refrigerator. We operated a second hand shop for a few yrs, a man kept asking me to buy an antique refrigerator. My thought was who would want such a thing, one day, he had oak lumber to sell, went to his place, in the corner of the shed was a beautiful Oak Ice Box, great condition, where did you get that beauty I asked. He said that is the antique refrigerator that you keep refusing to buy, Needless to say, I bought it. The picture in my mind of an antique refrigerator, was one of those old round topped fridges.
