Default 47th anniversary

today is my first wife and my 47th anniversary. my how time fly's. someone once said .... the fastest time on any trip is with a friend ... this trip was fast.......for you guys.... I want to tell you how to save a lot of money on anniversary and Birthday cards etc. I take my wife into a real card shop ( expensive kind..halmark type ..because I'm not cheap ) She goes around looking at all the nick naks and I look for a card, I take my time read most of them until I find the very special one........then I call my wife over and tell her.....Hon If i was going to buy you a card This is the one I would buy you.........she reads it .....then I put back on the rack and we walk out. .........I have saved a bunch of money. lol

Oh Jim! You really do walk a fine line.....I know what you mean when you say the time went fast. Congratulations on 47 years. I think that puts you and your wife in top 2% of lengthy marriages. I 'm one year behind you. I think I found the secret to a long and happy marriage. A very simple agreement between wife and me....It's my job to earn the money and her job to spend the money.....Again, congratulations.....there'll be many more, I am sure.. Tom H

Yep Jim, That's some sage advice. Who said there's not a lot of very useful information on the internet? Tom H

Congratulations, Jim! We had our 47th in July. Our marriage has lasted so long because my husband is the "captain of the ship"........But I'm the admiral!

Anniversary Jim and to your lucky "bride"!

When I tried the card thing, the last thing she said was ....... cute! I saw her two days later, after the swelling went down in my left eye, not for three out of the right one!
