Default 1st ever painting

I took a 4 hour painting class today, here are the results. Not too bad for a first try in a limited amount of time. Had a great time there. the instructor was great, funny guy. Oh , it's oils.

I used to love to watch that Bob Ross Painting show. Was that one of his classes. If so your trees sure look happy.
You did a great job on your first try.

Thanks guys The water is totally out of perspective but I'm happy anyway, never thought I could paint anything to look like anything at all. It was a Bob Ross class. I'd never heard of the guy before, shows what I know. LOL.

Nice job, I love the color/brightness of the painting. I used to paint but now I cut chips... Still get to paint when I complete the carivngs but it is not the same.

Well done for a beginning. Reminds me of the scene an instructor started my daughter with when she took classes. Stick with it, the painting information and skills will help you in your carving too. No such thing as too many talents!
