Default 1979 turkey

I have come a pound a 1979 full carving of a turkey carved by D P Holley. The name of the piece is Pecos River Tom. It is dated 1979 and sign PB Holley The name of the piece is carved on the wood stand. The size of the turkeys standing is about 1 foot by 1 foot long There are feathers carved and painted. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this turkey. I live in Brownwood, Texas some one said it may have come out of Midland ,TX maybe Ross Perooe had something to do with it I don’t know .any help PLEASE
