Question woodburning question

Woodburning a carving before painting looks to be a great idea so I bought a Nibsburner at a pawn shop, no cord or tip. I see I have a choice, permanant or replaceable tip and what would you want the tip to look like to burn these separation joints. If you have a preference, sure would enjoy hearing your opinion. Thanks Earl

you might want to check my Pyrography 101 tutorial on Razertip pens that's on my website. There is also a fairly comprehensive list (but not all inclusive) of pens available in our Store Front in the Razertip store. The tutorial gives you some ideas about the tips, their uses and the pros/cons of interchangeable tips. Selection of the tip/pen is going to depend on what your burning. Ie: if your burning quills, you would look at the quill maker (#5 MC/SC)

Since you don't have a cord for it, then you have the option of getting any brand of pens and the cord to match the pens.
