Default Wolf pyro

My daughter requested this for her friend for xmas. It's on poplar, 3.5inX9.5in. Water color paints with a few coats of clear acrylic finish. Wife thinks it's "spooky". Did I capture the look ok?
Happy Holidays to all!

Excellent work, the well spaced and directionally oriented lines, to depict the fur, show a great sense of surface and the sensitive use of colour adds up to a great piece.

Excellent job, I think you've captured the essence of a wolf perfectly.
