Default Winter Bird House in Magazine

If you are looking for the Winter Bird House Woodburning by L. S. Irish it is a 'sticky' thread that is posted at the top of the pyrography section page.

You can click on the link below to go directly to that thread.

Winter Birdhouse Woodburning Tutorial

The pattern for this wood burning is posted on Wood Carving Illustrated's Free Carving Patterns page. You can click on the link below to go directly to that page. The patterns are in the right column, second from the top.

Wood Carving Illustrated - How To Magazine for Carvers

This tutorial is written in three sections. Those sections are explained in the first post of the thread. The first section is how you can determine where your shadows are in a photo. The second section is how you can then determine where your shadows lie in the pattern used for this tutorial.

The first step of the actual wood burning is post #36 where I trace the pattern to the wood.

To go directly to that posting, #36 please click on the link below.

To work through the pages of this and any other thread please look at the top of the page on your right side. You will see an area that says "Pages" and lists the pages of the thread.

Thank you for stopping by to read this tutorial, L. Susan Irish
