Default Saw Whet Owl

This was done on a 9x12 plywood board using a spade and shader instead of the pointillism technique.....the hi-lite on the bill was done with a white pencil.

Nice job Jax. Great subject matter too, the owl is an interesting bird and not often done in pyro.

Jax, very nice job on the owl. They are not easy to do in pyrography...Bob, that's why you don't see many done, it's quite a challenge and the spear shader is my all time favorite tool. I use it for 95% of my work although I've been experimenting lately with some new pens...trying to step outside the box!
