Default New Pyro/Woodburning

"The Highwayman" This pic came out of a magazine/couldn't find who took the pic. I don't sell my work and I think the potographer would say I didn't butcher his/her work.

Hollis that piece is absolutely incredible! I wish I could do human portraits, but I'm not there yet. By the way, please tell your daughter when she gets bored with those Lions I know of a nice Canadian home for them!

Keep up the wonderful work and keep posting buddy.

Lindy

Good grief I'm retarded when it comes to a computer. I blame it on old age for sure and my old beard is whiter than Willy's. Both our faces look like the back side of an elephant's hiney! Just didn't know how it was going to turn out, having never done a portrait or the likeness of someone. Lindylu I use a constant temp. walmart special and make my own tips, and don't cut a light to your work and what some beautiful work you put out and the same to all of you. Thanks! I did post a carving I whittled out of a piece of sasafras in the resembilance of a Druid. Of course Druids might not look like that, ain't never seen one. Again thanks!

Glad you found the pics. I just enjoy doing any kind of art and carving. Thanks for your comments and the only thing I can say to someone starting is what I've got on my signature and something similar to this. Make anything your do good enough for you! The outcome will be as high as your standards. Sometimes I'll spend hours on one little bitty detail so that it will come out good enough for me. Does that make any sense? Thanks again for your nice comments!
