Default Most used Tips

I am getting ready to buy a colwood detailer (14 gauge). I use the burner for my carvings mostly. Adding feathers, fur sharpening the edge of the carving and so on. Can you recommend the most used tips I should start with? I would like to get maybe 3 or 4 tips or pens to start.

Thanks for your time
Steve

I recently purchased a Colwood Detailer with the following 4 tips. RTBR Rounded Heel, RTB2 Writing, RTS Shader and a RTD Small Round Shader. The first 3 tips are used a lot but the Small Shader has never been used. I am sort of a beginner so there may better advice available but I am well pleased with what I have.

Thanks, that will get me agood start anyway. Is it easy to change the tips, or easier to change out the pens?

Thumbs up Re: Most used Tips

I use the changeable tips. It is really simple to swap tips when required. I suppose if you are doing a lot of burning it would be better to have several pens so that you do not wear them out making changes.
