Lindy,

Just beautiful ... but personally I loved the other laces as well
The depth of tonal value is fantastic and I particularly like the little added detail burning to the back of your purse. It adds a nice touch of surprise to an area of the purse that will not normally show. Adding your name is great too!

You might ask BobD to connect this thread with your first purse burning thread. It is such a great example of what a pyro can do on leather that for future browsers of our forum it would be good for them to be able to see your work from start to finish.

Lindy, when I saw the first pictures, I thought that I had to tell you to change the laces because they just did not match the rest, I thought that they should be the same colour as the purse but you have already changed them and I have to say that the colour is perfect. Hard to believe how much difference can a small thing make.....The purse is beautiful.

Hi, Lindy.....now it's perfect! The other laces detracted from the beautiful work in design that you did, and now.....the stitching match enhances your burning work. Just gorgeous! Bonnie

Wow Susan! Your praise means a lot to me as your books have been where I have been teaching myself the most about how to burn ~ so thank you! I will contact Bob and see if he would like to link the threads.

Bonnie, Fred, aulddiy, Kathy, everyone! Thank you so much for your encouragement and help with this project. I am really enjoying working with the leather, or at least experimenting with it andI love how it responds. Right now I'm working a piece that is two polar bears playing - jawing each other and I'm going to frame it with sticks going through the leather, laced together at the corners. I bought some poly resin cast bear claws from Tandy's and I'm going to place one at one of the corners. It's going to be a Christmas present for one of my nephews who absolutely loves the Artic and Polar Bears in particular. Once it's done I'll post it.

Thanks again,

Lindy
