Default Great Burning Tip

Hello everyone, I was burning detailed on my Great Horned Owl and noticed the burning I did on one side of the wing was a little darker than the other side. Then I happened to look down at my eraser the type used in school, with the two colors white/reddish brown. I took the eraser the (white side) and rubbed the darker burned side and found that I was able to remove some of the burn fibers which was burned leaving a lighter color on the wood. I also found out that before burning, the use of the eraser helps clean finger marks, dirt, and oil left on the wood. Note: use a brush to remove eraser particles before burning and after burning. Default Re: Great Burning Tip

Never have used the eraser, will use fine sand paper or a fine brass brush to lighten a burn. Will have to the eraser, though. Great tip!
