Default Grandaughters Xmas Church

The Grandaughters Xmas Church is finished. It is made from Plywood Birch I think. I get scrap pieces from the local Home Center. It's cheap, that's within my price range. LOL. Size ie 8"x 11". Again the Pattern is from Susan Irish.

Hi Merle, gotta agree with everyone you did a great job. I don't use color but I love seeing the effects created by those who do.

Thanks everyone for your very Kind words. I'm sure the Grandaughter will like it. My Wife likes it also. She is my Over the Shoulder Guy. She shocked me by saying it looked like,(Looking out a Window). After 54 yrs. she can still be nice.Ha, Ha. Again thanks. Merle

Hi Merle, I was going back a little ways on this site and came across your beautiful church. I really like your technique of woodburning and the use of color. It has an olde world appeal to me and takes on an English appearance. I'm sure your Granddaughter will be thrilled.

Well thank you very much Kathy. Jackie dropped a hint thru her Mother and Grandmother that she liked the Churches that I did for her Grandmother. So Pap had to help Santa a little. The Pattern is from Susan Irishes, Great Book of Woodburning. She explanes the different strokes for shading as does Sue Walters, Pyrography Workbook. Both very good books. Thanks again and I'm sure Jackie will like it. Merle
