Default Goblet Image

This is my first post here, so please forgive me if I get the format wrong.

I'm starting a project to make a wooden goblet. My plan is that before I seal and glaze it, I want to burn several images and words onto it. Specifically, inside the goblet itself. If you want the details, I'm burning the sides of a St. Benedict Medal inside of it.

I just wanted to know if any of you have any suggestions as to how I get the image on the inside before I burn it on. I'm not a good enough artist to be able draw it by sight/memory on there. I was thinking some kind of ink or pattern to use, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the advise,
Jacob

Maybe you could burn in there over a traced pattern. Graphite paper would be the best means of tracing. Is there enough space to get in there to trace the pattern ?

There should be. I can always cut it down to the absolute minimum. That shouldn't be a problem. I admit, I haven't heard of graphite paper. How does it work?

Graphite paper is like carbon paper but is erasable. It can be found at most hobby or craft shops.
