Default First Post

Hi everyone,
This is my first post on the message board. The pics are of a woodburning I just completed, the first is before I painted it and the second after.

Hi, Ken!

It looks like a very nice piece but it was hard for me to see. I would love to see a bigger picture of it if that is possible. And I would like to say welcome glad you have decided to join us.

Blessings,
Tina

Ken that is gorgeous and the color just makes that pop. It is a bit hard to see the detail but it looks as though it's a relief carving with burning or great use of shading to create the depth so it looks carved.

Thank all of you for the compliments. Nedra, it is burned on a smooth board. The pictures got small when I cropped them because they are so short. I will take another shot at a higher resolution and see if I can produce a larger picture.

Beautiful work ... I can see ten years of experience showing in your execution. The surface, the slab wood with bark makes a wonderful framed window for your burning.

Hope you will share more of your work here on the message board.
