Hi Micky and Bart, appreciate your input. In answer, the house was from a photo I took, the others were patterns I bought from the net.

Very nice paintings Tucker. I'm not sure what is woodburned or if it really would qualify as a woodburning in competition but if your not trying to enter in competition it really doesn't matter. Some of the shows I've seen a separate category for Woodburnings with color added but I think it has to predominantly be a woodburned, not predominantly painted to be considered a woodburning.

thanks for ALL the positive feedback, these ARE my first attempt and yes, "they are wood burnt and then painted". I don't feel well enough qualified to do the shading with my razor tip and there was an urgency to get them done in time for Christmas. "MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL"
