Default Contest Results

Guess we shall see. Here are a few couple of burnings I did last year, going to see what will happen. Got very lucky and they did not require the work to be present since I was deployed, just photos of the work. They did not have a category for pyrographs so I entered the mixed media 2-D. Got a long wait, results should be out late July/early August:whip:

Anybody else hitting any contests?

Nice work!

I've entered local ones here in Springfield, VA, and Richmond, VA. These both require you to be present though.

Great work!

I just mailed off a carving to the International Woodcarvers Congress in Iowa and I'll be entering a few (in my state) shows later this year.

That's some nice work. I would have a hard time picking a favorite but if I did I think I would go with the turkey

Thumbs up Re: Entered My First Contest

Well, results are finally out...

And I took 1st in with Bob Burn in Novice 2 D mixed media

And an Honorable Mention with Lil Duckhunter

First competition and the wait was killing me, but well worth it
