Default Civil War WIP

We have started a new WIP on Fox Chapel's PyrographyOnline. com pyro forum and I hope that you will join us.

Civil War WIP

The project is being worked on a 12" x 12" vegetable dyed leather blank and features General Lee and General Longstreet as the main focus.

To this date the pattern work is completed and posted so that you can join the burning work as it progresses. A test/sample pattern is also posted that shows a close up of the common Cavalier (sp) bridle of the time, we will use this pattern to establish the temp settings, tips, and textures that will be used in the main design.

Of course, a practice grid has already been created on an end scrap of leather.

I hope that you will slip over to the new pyro forum, sign up, and join us as we work through this step-by-step with LOTS of photos!

Thank you for taking the time to read this posting!

Susan

Default Re: Civil War WIP

We have the practice pattern for the horse bridle completed and are well into the Civil War scene with Lee and Longstreet. Lots of photos and lots of basic instructions for each step.

Hope you stop by!!!!
