 Alternative burning A friend has offered to teach me his style of woodburning. He goes out on his west facing patio on a sunny afternoon and does all of his work with a magnifying glass and the sun. His work is very good and he has even sold quite a few pieces to local businesses etc.. Has anyone tried this method? I'm sure it is much slower and more difficult to learn than using a pen but it sounds like fun and I think I'm going to take him up on his teaching offer.  |

| Re: Alternative burning I've seen some of that "SUN BURN" work...it looks really nice. I may have to try that myself.....just shorted out the transformer on my unit today while trying to re-wire the selector switch......won't select anything, now. Al |
