I have a small bundle of heavy weight floral wire. It's about as thick as a large paper clip wire but much more flexible. You can get it at most craft stores as Michaels or M. C. Moores and you probably can buy it at your local florist shop.
I started with about a 5" long strip. At about 1 1/2" from one end I wrapped the wire around the handle of one of my large brushes to create the first eye glass. Then allowed about a 1/2" space before I did the second loop. I looped the first eye area from the back to the front and the second from the front to the back. Then I bent the sides at the 90 degrees to become ear pieces.
OK ... slide the glasses into place so you can find the nose angle and bend the 1/2" center area however deep you need to for the nose bridge. Mark where you want the ear pieces to bend ... bend those over the brush handle and cut of the excess.
I painted the wire with acrylics ...
