P.S. since have watched the whole DVD and it's great, a ton of info and am amazed at all the different techniques and styles of carving covered.
HI Cory The pine was dry. wish it was green. the walnut and cherry are carved either way.Thanks for the kind words about my new DVD

David, I just got your book today. After a quick scan, I can tell it's a solid book for beginners as well as veteran carvers. We're always looking for a book to recommend to beginners, and you took woodcarving from A to Z. Great job and thanks. Mike

Not a question more a thank you. Bought your DVDs and have been watching them. OK I watched the European semi final , but apart from that your dvds are on play. As a canny Scot I'd say they are a good buy, I might even buy your book! Thats praise indeed.
