Default Question for Loras S Irish.

Dear Ms. Irish,

I've been carving regularly for close to 1 year. I have a lot of carving books but your books are among my favorites. I love your patterns and art work. I hope that I can buy your CD soon with all of your patterns on it.

I never know of these sorts of things but I just wanted to make sure it's all right to post a carving on the internet that came from a pattern of yours so long as I give you credit for the art work. I always do this as well as giving you a plug for your book that the pattern is in.

This is the way I did it on Lumberjocks, here (sun), here (sun 2), and here (first green man). I just don't want to do anything wrong.

You inspire me and I hope that you will be writing more books soon.

Thanks,

Charles, aka helluvawreck

Ms. Irish, I really appreciate it. Thanks. To be honest, I'm pretty ignorant about copyright stuff and what you can and can't do and the last thing I want to do is something wrong because I can't afford any legal problems. My carving is just a hobby and also the last thing that I have is spare time so I don't want to have to go back over things on the internet and have to change a whole lot of stuff because of my ignorance. I will always give you credit and plug your books if I've carved one of your patterns and I will do the same for other artists as well.

Sincerely,

Charles, aka helluvawreck
