Default pattern for carving cowgirl

Someone several years ago made a cowgirl up in a rough cut out about 12 inches tall. She is standing with her hands in pockets of her skirt and is wearing boots and she wears a large hat. Could or would any of you regular carvers know of someone who would send me the pattern via email @ pmerr19@mchsi.com. I would appreciate that information. Thank you so much.

The only one I can think of that matches that description is one done by Lynn Doughtery...you might look at his site and ask him............ OutWestWoodCarving

I believe you may be referring to a Harold Enlow book entitled Carving Western Figures.
This book is still available from a number of carving supply dealers. In the book the figure would be approx 11 in. tall without base. I am including a link to one I carved from this pattern a number of years ago. In addition to a number of great cowboy caricatures, there are 3 patterns for cowgirls including, Cowgirl Saturday Night, Hilda and Granny Cowgirl. Check this link:

Ed , your100% right .I was at a seminar with Harold Enlow years ago in Long Island .I purchased that book there and Harold signed it for me.I still have it.I Have made everything in that book.Love his patterns. That would be his best bet on Enlows site.
