Question for Les Ramsay...In your interesting article on carving a Santa face, I am puzzled by step 1 and the accompanying photo. How does hollowing out the back of the carving give the face depth? The photo in step 1 appears to show the back of the carving being tapered as opposed to hollowed. Thanks |
