Oh my gosh, I haven't been able to get to the board much lately, and this was the first one I opened. I had to read it over 4 times to believe it wasn't really a joke.

I am so sorry to hear about this and it gives me the chills that Whitecree wrote this in case anything should happen. I'm touched that he would write such a letter to all of us.

Like the rest of you, I'm in shock and prayers go out to his family.

Jillsy

Just got my computer back from the repair shop so I havent been able to read any posts for a while. I was talking with Ron the other day and he informed me of our loss. I am deeply saddened by WhiteCree's passing, although I had never met him we had talked via email and on this message board. My prayers go out to his family but I celebrate his life as not only a great man but as a great carver. WhiteCree you will be missed until we meet again my friend.
Colin

When I saw the post I thought it was a joke. I enjoyed Whitcree's post and I learned so much from him. I will look forward to seeing him again. My prayers to his family. Mike

I have been busy lately, actually carving, and only paying little attention to the board; but something has seemed amiss.
I finished the carving part and am getting ready to paint my entries for the County fair, and was surfing around; when the light bulb went on. Where has Whitecree been?
Well; I am so very sad to find out he is no longer with us. I found him to be a bit salty at times, but what a great member of our little group. He had his opinions and wit, and just interesting views on life. He will be missed, and my heart goes out to his family.
Thanks for his last post.
God Bless,
Jim

Oh, my goodness, I have been jumping around on this board too fast.. I am totally shocked and stunned !! I can't believe I missed this. I am so very sorry to hear about Whitecree.. This is has brought such saddness to my heart.. I surely want to offer my sympathy to your family.. He will be missed very much on this board . I was watching HGTV today and it is so very very clear and sharp..Much sharper than the eye can preceive. The thought came to my mind that the word of God says, " we look at things now about heaven as if looking through a glass dimly. " Just one of the many many things in heaven are, that we will see things so very very sharp and clear.. That alone is something to get happy about.. What beauty there will be to enjoy.. I do hope he has met my Curtis by now.. as he knew him from this board also.. I can imagine them carving together. May God Bless you always. Charlotte

It's very rare that I can even begin to tap the crust of all the postings here so somehow I just now got the news. I have spent a lot of time in the past exploring the far northern parts of British Columbia so I can assure you that Whitecree was perhaps already on the grand "other side" in one way even before his passing.

It appears that he has left quite an honorable legacy behind for which his family, friends, and many unknow other's in the future that will surely benefit for the better. Godspeed in the Great Beyond!
