Default Wanda Potter from the KAW Valley carvers in Topeka

I learned this week that a truly beautiful lady and an accomplished carver and carving instructor passed away after being in the hospital for over a week. Wanda Potter shared her carving talents with so many people--encouraging them and helping them improve their skills. She taught at the annual KAW carving workshop held each summer at Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. SHe had a delightful sense of humor and was a good carving friend. I'll miss her as I know many other will. Her funeral is Monday morning.

Donna,

Although I didn't know Wanda, it's sad to see that we've lost another fine person and fine carver.
