Although I didn't know him personally,I can tell by the way you carry on his passion of carving that it was my loss not to have meet him.

| | Re: Remembering Curtis Thank you Nancy, Mark and Hi Ho.
This time of the year always makes things not so good, but hearing your comments certainly has lifted my Spirit. He loved all of you and Mark ,it was his loss not to have met you! Thank you for remembering.. The carving I am attempting to do now has his raccoon , and hound dog on it .. I guess it will always be Curtis and Charlottes work as I have nine tins of his little roughouts or almost finished carvings.. That is a big blessing to me .. Thank you again and I wove all of ya.. | | Re: Remembering Curtis Has it been that long, my goodness it seems like just the other day. Curtis has left you with a wonderful legacy Charlotte; his carvings, his passion and his love. He was the real McKoy! He will always be with you in your heart and with us in his spirit for his love of carving.
Bob

| | Re: Remembering Curtis Charlotte,
Curtis would be very proud that you have continued his work.
It must be at times, both difficult and a blessing.
You have my respect, Rick |

| | Re: Remembering Curtis I just came back from town to make the day pass faster and read these messages,, Donna, Kenny, Bob and Rick.. I didn't realize when I posted this in his memory that you would respond in such a special way. It has really touched my heart as I sit here with tears in my eyes and joy in my heart .You will never know how much I appreciate my dear friends on this board..Yes, Bob it does seem like yesteday and it boggles my mind to think that much time has passed . Rick it is like you said.. difficult at times and yet a blessing too.. Donna I know you get tired of hearing this but it will forever be burned in my mind..I was reading my diary last night and it was the day before he passed away that your angel came and he clutched it to his heart and I tried to put it on his table and he wouldn't let me take it . He went to sleep with it clutched to his heart . That was one of the last things he held.. I am so grateful for the friendship of this message board and the Lord has truly Blessed me to have found this board and these wonderful friends Love and God Bless each one of you .
