Charlotte,
I echo the words spoken by everyone else here. Also I never did meet him but feel as if I did though his carvings. Remember the good times they can never be taken from you. I am sure that the good Lord now has the sharpest knifes in heaven. Fond thoughts to you at this time.
Colin

Charlotte,I never get tired of hearing that the carving gave Curtis some comfort. You are a special friend who holds a special, warm spot in my heart. I don't say it enough, but I think of you often and hope your days and nights without Curtis are getting less painful with each special memory you recall.

Donna

Thanks Colin, He surely knew who Colin was and would smile a lot when he would read your messages and see your carvings..Yes, I truly believe we won't even have to sharpen the knives, gouges, chisels etc. in his kingdom. One day it is invitable but we will all be there and I believe the people on this message board will have a special part together in his kingdom.. and we will all get to know each other even better. I think that we will remember what we wrote on this board and laugh about Hi ho's jokes and all the laughs that was shared on this board but we will just go on to bigger and better things..and Donna I consider you a very special friend also.. Such predious memories we never forget and one day Curtis will be able to tell us what he was thinking and feeling when he held that little angel to his heart..It must have been very comforting for him to shake his head no when I started to take it from him..Today was two years sense his funeral but seems like yesterday..Maybe because I am still using his little things in my carvings and that makes me feel like he is still here...Comforting thought..Thanks so much for caring everyone..You are truly good friends...Love,Charlotte

Charlotte, you know what a special man Curtis was, and thanks to this crazy internet, so many of us know that too. We also know what a special person you are and how enriched all our lives are because of you both.

I'm sure Curtis knew what he was doing, leaving those unfinished pieces for you. He's still taking care of his Charlotte! I'm so glad you feel his presense, his comfort and his love! Thanks for continuing to share that with us! Love, Deborah
