I spent Friday and Saturday helping clean up in and around my mother and brother's house in Glade Springs, Virginia. We had an EF-3 tornado touch down and wipe out everything in the little town. My prayers go out to everyone who has been affected by these horrible storms. I never thought it would happen here in the mountains, but I know now that is myth. You can search Glade Springs, Virginia Tornado on Google or You Tube to see the results. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers during this time.

Blake

Just heard from GaryMc on facebook, and he is safe and just got his power back. The tornadoes left him alone, but passed by and did their damage.
Has anyone heard from Dylan Goodson yet? He is in northern Alabama.

added: Dylan is ok...tornadoes didn't get to his area.

I can see that I haven't posted on here enough if y'all have forgotten where I live.

I live in Central Alabama, and I'm glad that I do. We didn't have any damage on our place, although a possible tornado did go over us.

Hello Gang, yes were were safe in Decatur, We just lost power for a few days, but you can go in any direction for 5-10 mile and it's devastation. All of Alabama needs your prayers! I thank all that have posted here!

My heart and prayers go out to all of you. Living in tornado alley almost all of my life, we have seen many of these storms. It doesn't make it any easier. We were spared a lot of damage, just trees and limbs down and loss of power. We are also thinking of wearing life jackets full time if the rain doesn't stop soon, but we were lucky.
I hope everyone is ok.

I have been thinking about all my carving friends down south. It is good to hear from a few. We have had one in our county and three others in near by counties. Flooding is our problem now.
