Default Lowell Gorrell, Leesburg, FL - the "spoon man" passes
Many of you may remember Lowell Gorrell, Leesburg.,FL He was known to many as the "Spoon Carver". Lowell was a successful vendor at shows throughout FL for many years sellig his spoon cutots and tools. He taught many folks about carving his spoons
including several years as an instructor at the Florida Woodcarvers Roundup. Lowell passed away in mid June He will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry to hear this news. I did not know Mr. Gorrell personally but I did buy spoon blanks / supplies from him at past shows. He always went out of his way to help with useful information. Our thoughts are with his family.
