Default Lost another great carver a few months ago

Most of you did not know him but some did and had carved with him . Benny Johnson passed away in July due to a long battle with cancer. Benny never gave a sad sop story about his cancer but lived life to the fullest.
Xsailer and I had the pleasure of carving with him in 2006 and I again this past May, just before his passing. His wife and him made the trip from Durant Ok to Elk City Ok for the class and even tho Benny wa sin his last few months, he set there and carved. Had to get up several times and go outside but he was back in no time setting carving. It is what he like to do best.
M Heart goes out to his wife and family for truely he will be miss by them and us also.

God's blessing Shirley.

Yes we knew Benny and his wife Shirley for many years and loved them both. He was a joy to have in class and to carve with. He never complained about his situation and was always up. He will be missed.

It is always sad to hear the lost of a woodcarver, we are a disappearing race. Our prayers goes to the family.
