Default Good Man Gone:(

I just returned from the saddest 4 days of my life. Went to visit my Dad last Tuesday who wasn't feeling well and 6 hours later he had passed away. he was a a great Man. And I will miss him more then anyone I've ever known.Sad

And he is the one that got me started in wood carving, many years ago. I started him carving with a couple of small Goose blanks in 1988, and in 1989 he sent me a pair of duck blanks. As time went on he carved less and less and I carved more and more.

So say a prayer for a follow Wood Carver tonight. I know he would appreciate it.

My deepest and sincerest condolences. I still miss my dad so I know exactly how you feel. I guess that it doesn't matter how old you get..... your Pop is still your Pop! God's Speed Gergie!

Gergie,

I'm sorry to hear your Dad died. My Dad died in August, and it still feels like it happened yesterday. I'll say a prayer for your Dad, and you and your family. Keep yourself busy--especially with the things that make you smile. That's how I deal with my sadness...
